Hello everyone!

Our southside write-in went well last year, so we're holding another one this year. This time it's at my house, out the back where we can both plug in and relax in style (weather-permitting).

On: Wednesday 4th November, 12:30pm - 10pm
Address: 15 Mornington Crescent, Morningside, 4170
5-10 minute walk from Morningside train station (Cleveland line).
Plenty of parking outside and in front of the park beside the house.
Bring: drinks/snacks, money for pizza (dinner), powerboard/strip plug (if possible)

If anyone needs directions, drop me a line. Everyone's welcome, so feel free to drop by anytime between those times on Wednesday. We'll be doing a mass pizza-order for dinner, so please bring enough for that!

Please RSVP so I can gauge numbers. Looking forward to seeing you guys there!

*Ponders* I can prolly make it after TAFE on Wednesday, as that finishes at 1:00am, and it's in Mt Gravatt. Will see what happens.

So put that down for a maybe/possibly/could be/see me if you see me. :D

I have an appointment at the Mt Gravatt campus of Griffith Uni at 12pm on Wednesday, I assume that it will last somewhere around an hour.
So if you're anywhere near the Griffith Campus, I can give you a lift back to Morningside as that is directly where I am going post appointment.

Let me know.

Thanks for the offer. :D But I drive myself to TAFE, so my transport will be there. It's just a matter of what else I have on that day to whether or not I can make it.

I'm a very flakey maybe. I should really, really be studying ... but I'm not, and kinda doubt the 4th will be filled with studious goodness either.

I'd love to come, though I'll probably get there around 2ish (maybe) if that's ok. I have a job interview over in Alderly (northside, I think) and Brisbane isn't known for an infallible transport system.

I'm going from Nundah. If your parents are okay with it I could give you a ride.

Well, I just live around the corner at Seven Hills, and Dad says he'll write me a note to leave school early (it's only Maths that I'm missing, and I'm topping the class anyway. =D) so I'll be there momentarily from 1:00 PM onwards. So long as I can shove my bike somewhere at your place, then I can make it. I mean, I easily ride three times the distance (just from looking at Google Maps) to school and back every day, so an extra bit one day isn't too much of a worry.

I look forward to seeing you guys there and seeing how you work. And pizza for dinner, no less! =D REAL brain food.

Room for bike is no problem! Just prop it up against the fence and it's fine. :)

Awesome! Sounds like it'll be a good turnout. We'll be out the back, so follow the signs and come down and join us!

If you are able, please bring a powerboard/four-point plug/strip plug/whatever you call it. Also, any outdoor chairs you can bring would be awesome. I should have enough to go around, but better to be safe!

See you all tomorrow! :D

I didn't notice this thread. x]
But I think I'm coming. I think I think.
And I'm secretly hoping there will be a good, hearty stack of Kiwis there, since I've discovered that my story takes place in New Zealand and has some really racial Maori stuff. Ah. >.<

Anyway. Yes. Please consider this my last-minute-hopeful-RSVP.

----------

Everything is now finally planned - albiet loosely - to the very end.
Including a very serious incorporation of my dare and one hell of a climax. Hopefully. <3

You've already beat the word minimum; lack of progress does not exist for you anymore.

Either way, I'm amazingly happy that I made average by the end of the night. I was sincerely pleased by that fact, and I got to have fun and pizza, too.
