I think I just came up with a great idea this afternoon.
Wrimo-Buddies. Where if a new Wrimo comes in, if they want, they can be paired up with a veteran Wrimo who's done NaNo before. The veteran will be there to answer any questions that the new participant will have, give them tips and tricks, etc.
I think it may help! What do you guys think? If people are interested, sign up below. Please state it's your a new participant or if your a veteran. (Veteran meaning someone who's done NaNo at least once.)

That sounds kindof neat!
I'm a veteran, by the way. ^^

This is my first year in NaNo and I would greatly appreciate any help.
I am in the NW in Beddington.
My contact details are;
webber.paul@gmail.com
maramyfriend@live.ca
maramyfriend@yahoo.com
For online chats.
Anyone can add me of course.
I am a single parent so sometimes even though it says I am available I may not be at the computer dealing with kids. Just so anyone knows, I am not ignoring if you add me and don't get a response. I am probably dealing with kids and will get back to them asap.
The only email I check is the gmail, the other two are only used for chat.

I'm game.
I'm a... *Cough* veteran. That terminology makes me feel old.

I'm in my first nano but one of the reasons I joined this was to meet others that are interested in wrtiing. I don't really need any help with things as I know I can do this but as writing can be a lonely journey I'm defently willing to get to know some of you better. On that vein; I really enjoyed meeting those of you I had the opportunity to last night.

I'm new and waaaaay behind. I'd love a buddy. Preferably one that could aid me in shutting up my inner perfectionist and editor.

Well I'd like to thank all those who volunteered to be a guiding light for newbies. I made it through and will probably end up at 60k. I never got assigned a buddy so to all those who offered their help you get a 'biggup' from me as you could have potentially been my guiding light.
