Come one, come all, come stockpile some words on November 3rd in Bellevue*!
The details:
Tuesday, 11/3/09
5:00 p.m. until closing time (9:00 p.m) or everyone goes home
City Limits Cafe, Clofton Drive, Nashville, TN**
I'm coordinating. Post questions here or PM me.
Featuring:
- tasty, reasonably priced soups, sandwiches, salads, baked goods, coffee, tea, etc.
- lots of table space, at least a few outlets, and (assuming I remember) a powerstrip
- your butt in a chair and your fingers a-typing.
Basic directions from points east:
Take I-40 west to exit 199. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Old Hickory. Follow OH for a few minutes until you come to the big intersection with Highway 70 South (recognizable by the McDonalds/Kroger/strip mall madness). Turn right onto Hwy 70 S, then immediately watch for the fork, and fork left onto Old Harding Pike. Follow that for roughly a mile, and right after you cross the train tracks, City Limits is in the little shopping plaza on the left. Voila!***
Or, you know, Mapquest it.
*Which is closer to civilization than you think. Seriously, 20 minutes from downtown! Just 25 from the airport! Less than half an hour from Brentwood!
**See? It's even a Nashville address still!
***Am I protesting too much? Come anyway. It'll be awesome.

P.S. RSVPs would be lovely, but if you decide at the last minute to come, just go ahead and show up. Also, if you can't make it at 5:00, come on over when you can. See you there!

Hi, it's Batya in disguise. I'm planning on attending this write-in, as it's close by and at a time I can make. I'll try to be there at 5pm. I'd bring a power strip too, but I think they're all packed.
Thanks for organizing this one, Heather!

I'm trying to recall, is this in the middle of the condo develpment if you come down Sawyer Brown Road from 70 (if you get off at 196/Bellevue Mall exit)?

No -- I think I know the spot you mean, though. If you're coming down Sawyer Brown from 70, go all the way to Old Harding and turn left. Clofton Drive and the cafe will be shortly ahead on your right.
