Is anyone planning any write-ins in Logan Square? With all us artsy types out here I would think we would be a shoe-in for a grand coffee consuming gathering...

I don't think anyone's planning any write-ins but if someone wants to, I'll gladly be there.

It looks like there are write-ins planned at 9:30 am a few days at week at New Wave coffee house. I can't attend them in the morning. But, I think I might be able to plan an additional one Thursday evenings. Would anyone be interested in Thursday evenings, if I can swing the planning? Say, around 5:30 to whenever?

I'd be up for Thursday evenings.

I'd be down, but New Wave is iffy to me. They're always soooo busy, it would stink if we couldn't find a place to sit! Are there any other places in LS?

Is New Wave on the square? I might be able to do a Thursday night.

Logan Square Library on Fullerton might be an option. It's never that quiet in there anyhow.

Here's the info on the early write in's at New Wave, in case you can't find your way to the calendar. I was there today and there were plenty of seats (tables and comfy couches/chairs) and tons of outlets till around 11am, when it got pretty full. I plan to be there 9:30am-1:30pm Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday (that the kids aren't outta school).
Those dates are: 2,4,9,13,16,20,23.25,30th. Know it doesn't work for everyone, but the early bird gets the power supply. Hope to see more WriMo's Wednesday. I'll have the table tent up, so stop typing long enough to say hey, if you make it in.

This is the ideal write in for parents who have to crank out their chapters while the kids are in school, and for the unemployed and non 9-5 workers. Come rock out the word counts with us in Logan Square. This coffee house has great tunes, food, and drinks and is easy to get to from the Logan Square stop on the Blue Line. Parking's also not too rough during the day.
Hope to see you there.

Let's say we do it at the Logan Square Library, 5:45pm on Thursday, 11/5. I'll call to see if they have a meeting room we can use, otherwise we can just meet in the main room. I will also ask for it to be added to the calendar.
P.S. If you saw my frantic post about the "official write-in," I thought there was a write-in downtown at the same time, but it is in DOWNers grove. Ha!

I got us scheduled in the North meeting room from 5:45pm until 7pm. We have to get out of the room at 7, but at least we will not have to worry about us or the library being too loud for that hour and 15 minutes. If we run over, perhaps we can move to the main room or somewhere else in the area.

I'll likely be stopping in at New Wave tomorrow morning -- my first write-in!

Logan Wrimos--So sorry. Can't host the early New Wave write in today, but write on without me. I'll be at home with 2 sick kids--hopefully still boosting the word counts. Anyone else feel free to print a table tent if you want. School's out this Fri, so the next M,W,F I can host will be Monday the 9th from 9:30-1:30.

I also need to apologize. I'm sick, and can't host the 5:45pm write-in at the library today. Would someone else like to host it? If so, I can give you the contact info so you can change the room reservation to your name.
I'm only going to allow about an hour for responses, so please respond asap. I want to allow time to cancel the write-in and for it to be noted on the calendar if no one wants to host.
