Two Paneras in Falls Church. I'm bound to get around to some keyboarding at one or the other. That "comfy near the fireplace" vibe is hard to beat when the cold weather seeps in this time of year. Let's see who else is interested...

I'm in North Arlington. I've been to Panera many times. I didn't know there were 2; I go to the one near Papa John's on Broad Street. I generally write between 10am and 2pm, but sometimes can get away in the evenings.
I'll check here often, but I check my e-mail more often:

Count me in! The Panera closest to Papa John's on Broad Street's great and someone else has already said it but you really can't beat a warm fire on a cold day!

Oh! I'm down in the Shenandoah Valley right now but I'll be in Falls Church this weekend and the week of Thanksgiving. Is there anything planned?

I'm in Falls Church!
Well, McLean technically but I spend a lot of time in FC. The Panera by Papa John's is pretty nice, as well as the Starbucks across from Anthony's. But if you want to avoid the Starbucks-writer thing I understand :)

My sister and I are also in McLean. If there's going to be a Falls Church write-in, we'd definitely try to be there! I like the idea of the Panera Bread near Papa John's - I don't really have good memories with Starbucks. :P

I'm in McLean as well.
Sounds good, but I know of two Panera Breads :|

I started mentioning this location at the Pohick kick-off--but my office-hours aren't stable until the 12th. If someone knows when they'll be able to be at that Panera for a couple of hours before that day, go ahead and start something up!

these are my available times I will be looking for write-ins:
Thursday Nov. 5, 12, and 19 - 1pm to 3pm
Monday Nov. 9, 16 and 23 - 10am to 3pm and/or 7pm to 9pm
Friday Nov. 13 and 20 - 10am to 3pm
Sunday Nov. 15 and 22, any time after 1pm and before 9pm
a group is putting something together for Shirlington, too, which is a little further away, but still relatively nearby.
I'll plan to go to Panera at 1pm on Thursday, just in case. It's a 450 West Broad (cross street is Pennsylvania).

They are pretty busy at lunch time, but it should clear out some by 1pm. I hope the fireplace doesn't damage my laptop... I promise not to toss it in (even if I'm still behind pace).

I can be there Thursday from 1-3 pm. Thanks for the map link, very helpful. A Panera fireplace sounds like the perfect motivation to write.
I have no idea what I'm going to look like, but I figure I'll just ask people with laptops "Hey, NaNo?" and if they give me a blank look, I'll apologize and move on.

I can be at Panera tomorrow. I'm a few thousand words behind because I'm having problems with the no edit suggestion, so I should be quiet and writing instead of chatting. Look for the foot boot.

I hope to be at Panera this week on Tuesday Nov. 10, Thursday Nov. 11, and Friday Nov. 12, from about 1pm to about 3pm. Last week, there was plenty of room and a plugin near the fireplace. I noticed that my productivity increases when I work from outside of home, so I'm most likely going to make it all three days.

Okay, I started getting unknotted last night. Despite the office pulling me in on the holiday, the forward momentum is fully re-engaged.
So, tomorrow:
Thurs., Nov. 12
6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
at the Panera in downtown Falls Church.
If I can remember to bring the travel mug with the official logo, I'll have that out as a flag of Nanowrimo-claimed territory. Otherwise, you'll have to look for a figure with beard and eyeglasses, hunched over a laptop.

Thorn -- I'll try to come to Panera tonight, too. I need some inspiration as my novel is somewhat flagging. I haven't tried a write-in before so this may help. Will look for your NaNoWriMo mug; I'm about 5'2" with shoulder-length brown hair. --CJ

I did not make it there on Tues and Thurs, but I am on my way there now, it's Fri; I should be there by 1pm.
I don't think I can make it this evening, though. Have fun!

The Panera down by West St is quite good, and there's an okay one in Tysons.
