Hey everyone, happy almost november first!
Just for the sake of discussion, when and where do you intend to start writing?
I personally am at work on NAU's campus in the South Learning Resource Center until 11, I don't know if I'm going to stick around here for the use of the great chair until midnight, or if I'm going to go home and hang out with my laptop on my bed, or if I'll stand up at my main desk, which is at standing level (I stacked a desk and a small folding table together so I can stand at my computer, which lets me move around and burn a few more calories)
Happy writing!

I just started writing about half an hour ago (yay Nov 1st at last!) curled up on the bed in my pjs. I'm still in my costume's make up though. Haha. I'll wash my face before I call it a night. But for now I'm typing away with a bottle of red wine (novelist fuel) and a freaking huge fruit tart (not really novelist fuel, but nummy, none-the-less).
Apparently, I'm starting the procrastination early this year, since I'm only about 500 words in and I'm already puttering about on the forums with my word document open in the background saying: write! write! and me being all: in just two more minutes!

I actually brought my laptop to a Halloween party with me, and pulled it out a little after midnight (actually, it was probably after one-ish) and began typing (a little inebriated, so it came out awful :P). I got 900 words done that first bit, then decided I hated my story idea and started something completely new later. And, yup.

I wish we could post pictures on here. I'm sure there's a way, but I don't know how. But imagine a picture of a very messy room, laundry all over the place, stacks of books on the desk, the floor, and even the bookshelf. Now picture a girl sitting at her desk in pajamas, feet propped up on the roll-out, wireless keyboard in her lap. That's what you would see if I could take a picture of my writing space :)
I started some time around 1 am on November 1st. I wrote 1,000 words. When I was done I glanced at the clock on my computer screen and saw that it was 1:30. I thought, "Oh, that's not too bad. I can get a decent amount of sleep if I go to bed now!" Then I turned around to grab something and saw my alarm clock sitting on my dresser. It said 2:34. I rubbed my eyes and checked again. Still 2:34. I look at my phone. 2:34. Glance back at my computer. 1:34. "What the crap?" I think to myself. "This is a Mac. A MAC! It's not supposed to do weird things like this!"
----------Then I realize that it is the end of STUPID DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME and since I've been on LA time this whole semester, the computer automatically switched the clock when the LAers were supposed to. So I had to go in and switch it to Phoenix time. And I LOST an hour of sleep.
STUPID DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!!
