Hey guys.
So I was thinking.
I've never been to a write in or anything before. And I think thats because I always feel like I am way too young and it would be weird. So perhaps we could organize a teenaged/high-school write in at some point? It'd be cool 8)
I know some of the more nanowrimo supporting schools have their own write ins and stuff (I know fairview did when I was there as a freshman) but mine doesn't, so I never get to meet any people through nano and it makes me a sad panda.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make this work? I think the most concentrated area of teenaged nanoers is in boulder, so perhaps somewhere there?

That sounds like it could be a lot of fun! School also makes write-ins hard for me, as well as my lack of a license which means I'm inhibited by the bus. Just thinking of Boulder-area schools, the Brewing Market on Baseline and Broadway is kind of central--near New Vista, and between Fairview and Boulder High. Would people be willing to do a write-in there at some point during November?

[Disclaimer] I am not a teenager (anymore). [/Disclaimer]
In past years there have been both social events and write-ins at the Boulder Public Library.

Hi, teens! I am also not a teen, but I met the sister of one, and I know she plans to be at the Longmont Meet & Greet today from 2pm to 6pm at Vic's on Airport Rd. in Longmont. See the calendar for more details.
I believe she has already held a kick-off for teens at her house, so she may be doing more events this year. You might want to connect with us today at Vic's. If I see her, I will nudge her about posting her get-togethers.

Teen NaNoers,
We're happy to host teen write-ins at the main branch of the library, as thefunkylama stated. (I can say that since I'm from the library). You can either use the Teen Space after school and weekends, or write in the Teen Art Gallery (just outside the Teen Space) anytime we're open. Just let either Funky or I know and we'll organize what we can.

I'll be at Flatirons Coffee, on the corner of...28th and Arapahoe, I think it is, across from the Safeway from 12:00ish to 4:30ish on Wednesday afternoon (November 18th). I've got no school on Wednesday afternoons, and this being the last Wednesday which this is possible--along with my newfound ability to drive without my parents--I'd love to meet some fellow teens or other NaNoers! I'll have my faithful dark-blue laptop, and my green messenger bag. I should be rather recognizable.
Come join me then?

All right, I'm here at Flatirons Coffee. I've got my blue laptop, and my USB key has a lot of dangly things on it such as vampire teeth and green beads. I'm in the back corner near the cream/sugar/honey station, thought I might move soon if I can figure out how to get an outlet. My laptop doesn't have much battery.
Anyway, I'll be here all afternoon if someone wants to join me!
