For the last week, my characters have refused to talk to me about this story. Instead, new characters were telling me that they wanted to come out and play. And then 10 minutes before NaNo - they started talking and wouldn't shut up. And since I have to return to real life Monday - I knew that if I didn't put up an excerpt now, it may be next NaNo before I remembered to do it. So it's up if anybody's interested in reading it.

I did. Somehow I managed almost 3K before bed. I plan on having over 3K before I come to the write in.
