Only 361 words but I just wanted to get started right away before bed. So excited.

p.s. I'm sorry I didn't make it to the Kickoff Party. Taking my son trick or treating just broke me energy wise.

I just hit 602. I don't know how I got here so fast, but I'm pretty happy. I've got my resin kid inspiration here, and the words seem to just flow straight from my brain!

I figure I'll try to hit 1000 before bed.

Dang. Just got home, haven't written a word other than updating my fb status and then this post. Those count, right?! ;)

I think I'll hit the hay, and try to start fresh in the a.m.

Oh, wait, I guess I could think of it as only 12:30 am, due to the time change! Maybe I better start cracking . . .

Good luck everyone, and see you Davisites tomorrow at 2 pm!

Oh man, I'm starting to feel pathetic now. I've barely gotten to 750, thanks to all of these distractions.

Oh and Tara, seriously thank you for mentioning the time change in your post!
I completely forgot. Now I have to go change all the clocks and get to bed. I couldn't get to sleep I was so excited about getting started.

I managed to stay up till midnight, but only wrote 260 words. I got up this morning and increased my count to 2,437! I'm so happy I made it past my goal of 2,250.

But it wasn't easy. I kept stopping to check the word count. Really struggling. Hope it gets easier! I just need to remember not to focus so much on choosing the right words and just let it flow.

Did 765 at the kickoff last night and am just warming up this morning with a _big_ mug of coffee by my elbow.

I got a surprising amount done at the write in, despite looking like an idiot on Good Day.

Yup. I feel amateur: 2,427, but hitting at least 3,200 before bed. Not surprised at all at how fast its coming. I was about ready to stab a hole in my plot and notes. Every time I scribbled even so much as a bullet down, I was inching my pen towards starting the novel. That went on for about a week. >.< I just repeated this mantra: "Must not write. Must not read fiction."

I've got about 2400 between the starts of two different stories, and I hates them both, so I'm starting over. But I'll find a way to incorporate the 2400 I've already written. Maybe.
