Apparently this game doesn't have a thread. Any chess players out there? I mainly play on gameknot, occasionally on yahoo, and I have a chess.com account but I rarely use it. Alternatively, if you happen to live nearby, a live match is always good as well.

I used to play chess a lot, but now I hardly have time to. Still have a few chessboards hidden in the back of my closet somewhere >.>

I've got an account on chess.com as well, same name as here. For a while I tried to get good at it, memorize openings and such, but I gave up on it. I still love the game and strategizing how to get out of messy positions, I just have no hope against genius 6-year-olds.

I love chess, but don't like actual chess games against real opponents. It's just too intense: I get really tense and light headed, even if I win. So, usually, I just play on Chessmaster 8000. I do have a chess theme in my novel this year, though :).

I can't think under pressure, so speed chess and bughouse always destroy me.

I love to play chess, but I only get to play against family. I never try memorizing the openings, I have made up my own though(That could exist but anyway) that works well for me, if my grandpa doesn't get my queen and bishops.
