I work for Starbucks in Highland Park and I do believe I have my boss interested in sponsoring a write-in at our store (the Drive thru on Deerfield Road). I was thinking, November 22?
I would love to say to her "[so many] people are interested in coming, we can offer prizes for who worte the most, etc.," but I am curious as to who would be interested in attending one in the North Shore to begin with. I had been thinking November 22, but I am pretty much open to almost any date. I was also trying to work it out with when I work and when we are slammed or not slammed, since we have only so many outlets in the cafe, and tables, etc. I will post a date soon, and will have it added to the calendar. We will be doing at least one date, see how it goes.
If you have another date in mind, let me know.
Like I said, if you want to, introduce yourself to me if you are in the store, I always want to meet fellow writers, and I'm thinking caffeine is going to be needed this month.

You don't have to be a starving writer, but try not to bring in a truckful, unless you bring enough to share with the baristas. The people in my store appreciate good food when they eat it.
