Mood: Tired because it took me a while to get into the story and because I still have a cold. At least I'm still on track for 30k!
(Yes, my goal is 30k this year because I've just started university and I know from experience that NaNo November means no studying at all. I'll probably try to push to 50k anyway because I am annoying like that, but there you go.)

Mood: Gestart op de midnight write in, en dat was gaaf. schrijven was echt inkomen... toch vaker doen door het jaar. Maar nu begint het weer te lopen, dus wel tevreden. en de 6000 zonder al te veel moeite gehaald.

Doel voor vandaag: 4000 (had eerst geen doel, maar Dorinde had 4000 in gedachte voor vandaag, en dat klonk als een heel redelijk doel)

Hevige hoofdpijn hield mij schijnbaar niet tegen.
----------Oké, ik heb dus niet in de auto geschreven, zoals ik wilde, maar de hele reis geslapen, maar 's avonds thuis nog een aantal wordwars gedaan (hoofdpijn was tegen die tijd eindelijk afgezwakt), en toen nog twee in mijn eentje omdat ik dacht dat ik er nog wel meer uit kon halen ... en dus uiteindelijk boven de 6000 beland :)

Mood: Mixed, predominantly positive. I've got an exam or two coming up, which made my goal to be fairly low for the first few days. The sign that I do have this much likely means that I'm going to fret about the exam when I should be sleeping. Still, the story flows at the moment and I've got a few neat symbolic choices lined up already.
Tomorrow's goal: 2000 words.

Mood: sleepy and distracted. No plot, just a bunch of wooden characters who are tongue tied.
Ik heb een probleem met 's avonds naar bed gaan en inslapen. Ga ver over mijn normale ritme heen en voel me de volgende dag als een zombie. En het is niet eens omdat ik zo driftig aan het schrijven ben dat ik de computer niet kan loslaten...

Mood: Well, what you would expect of course.. happy! I really wanted to try 20K because my previous record was 15K, and it worked, thanks to a day-long writing marathon. I did make a big mistake, but yesterday evening in bed I realized how I could fix that, so that's what I'll do today (yes, editing!) and then write some more...
Goal for the second day: I'd love 10K, but they I'd need to do some plotting first. But, let's try!

Mood: tevreden.
Ik had gehoopt een groter gat te kunnen slaan, maar door halloween feestje de avond ervoor heb ik erg weinig kunnen slapen (lag er om vijf uur in ofzo?) en was dus zo duf als een konijn. Toch nog netjes 1K per uur begonnen, en later heb ik iets kunnen versnellen. Het eerste hoofdstuk is af, op naar het volgende.

Gaat dit lukken? Hopelijk! Ben nu op werk, maar vanavond heb ik alle tijd van de wereld :-)

Mood: Eerst yay, toen nay omdat het aan het einde gewoon niet meer lekker liep en ik de "mood" kwijt ben. Dus waarschijnlijk ga ik een hoofdstuk of 2 herschrijven. in ieder gevaal het laatste van deel 2, met een dialoog van: "Ja." "Inderdaad." "Nee, een beetje meer zo." "O ja." "Snap je?" "Ja, ja." "O ja?" "Ja, echt." "Wat fijn." "Jazeker." "Joepie." "Ja. O wacht, nu ben ik zomaar boos op je en dan kunnen we verder met het verhaal."

Stemming: Heel tevreden. Ik zat niet al te lekker in mijn vel gisteren, dus ik ben best verrast dat er überhaupt woorden uit gekomen zijn, en gisteravond heb ik er het bijltje bij neer gegooid omdat ik echt ziek aan het worden was.

Stemming: Optimistisch. Ik ben op dit moment thuis van mijn werk, maar kan gelukkig wel nog af en toe een uurtje achter de pc doorbrengen om mijn wordcount mee op te vijzelen. Ik vraag me alleen af hoeveel van die woorden uiteindelijk zinnig blijken te zijn als ik ze nalees zonder dat grieperige gevoel erbij te hebben, maar dat is een zorg voor later.

It was my first writing day in my first nano, and I had no idea how much I could write in an hour. I managed 3 separate hours with around 900 words per hour. My plan is on working days to write for an hour before work and an hour in the evening and if necessary catch up in the weekend.
My first hour this morning I managed 1200 words, so I am pretty satisfied.

Ik had vandaag precies hetzelfde, maar het is beter om gewoon door te schrijven. Je moet toch sowieso wel editten aan het einde dus kan je beter dan alles editten. Het is moeilijk, ik weet het, maar eigenlijk moet je alles vergeten wat je eerder dan twee zinnen geleden geschreven hebt.
