Any chance we can get some IRC going here? I'm much more interested in word warring with the good people of Brisbane than the people I don't know at all in the main channel, but the MSN address exchange from years past seems to not yield much there. Err, I have no idea if it worked on not, but I downloaded a client thing, connected to it, and typed in #brisnano. It tells me I am "now in #brisnano" but yeahhh, it's like a 99.999% chance I did something wrong so if anyone goes in there and there's no one else, let me know so I can try to work this thing out x]

Yeah, you did something wrong :p
Try typing /server irc.goodchatting.com and then type /join #brisnano
There are other ways to change the server (options->servers, I believe), but that should be the fastest.
Edit: and just as a general note, #nanowrimo is on the same server, so you can join there as well
