Have you written your daily word count? AWESOME.

Have you doubled it? Tripled it? Written so much your fingers are now no more than bloody stumps? Well, if so, POST HERE!!!!

Seriously, post your daily word count that way we can have fun and urge each other on.

My count so far is 3514!

4050 as of last night. :) Started right at midnight on Halloween and spent a good chunk of yesterday plucking away at the keyboard. My goal is going to be to try and keep at least a day's word count ahead so that I can allow for a day's break here and there.

I pulled an all-nighter saturday night/sunday morning (well, tried to. Ended up crashing at 6AM) to try to get as many words out of the gate as possible, and got about 5600 down. then today at work, I managed another 2000.

That is... on my lunch break... yeah, that's it... only during my lunch break...

wow, I feel so... insignificant. LOL

I'm only at 1774 right now, but plan to write for a few hours tonight, and tomorrow will be lots of writing all day (YAY!) Hoping to hit 10K by Wednesday or Thursday, but we'll see how that goes. :)

Another 5K words today and I think I'm done for the day. Normally I try to write around 2500-3000 words but with the hint of competition I tend to push myself a little harder. Dont' worry, there is little chance I can keep this up.

As of tonight I'm at 8,831 and I thought I would be lucky enough to get 10,000 for the month. Boy did I underestimated myself. And I have to say this is so much fun.

At 5179 right now, and clocked 2070 yesterday. Pretty good, as my personal daily goal is 2000, and I've thought of myself as a sloooooooooow writer. This may well be the furthest I've ever gotten into a work of narrative fiction?

Taking the ol' laptop with me to work, tomorrow!

Just woke up from a long winter's nap...did I miss anything?

It's times like this that I'm glad I don't have a tv...not having that thing gives me one less slack off option.

Beat yesterday's total...although I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to rewrite half of what I wrote today...it wasn't my best quality by any means. But whatever...I'm now almost 170K in and drawing closer to my conclusion. I've even found a place for Tim...he's dead and was a women in this iteration but his memory still lives on many generations after his demise of natural causes. A moment of silence for he lovely Timatha if you are willing...may she rest in peace. sure it's a bit part but I have a prequel planned to fill in the backstory and in that she will have a most vital role. Of course...I do expect some sort of bribe from Tim for the honor of being in my book though. I take cash, check or flames tickets or of course food. :)

I'm proud of myself. I have a bunch of ideas of what I want to happen to my charactors and new charactors keeping popping up in my head. Can a story have too many charactors??? I hope not.
I am meeting my goals for the most part. The only thing that stops me from writing are some physcial needs, food, drink, the nasty habit of needing to expell wastes in the toilet as well as sleep and my cat. she so cute I just have to wake her up and make her play after I have finished writing about 500-1000 words or so.

I am at eight thousand four hundred and thirty seven!!!(8437) :-D and I like it....!!! lol

I don't actually have cable so I must have stumbled upon something unintentionally. Which cartoon is this that you think I watch?

Man I wrote really slow today...I'm at 4k on the day but it has been very slow. Partialy due to the emotional trauma of killing a character - partially due to extreme exhaustion. Five days down that's only 16,67% of the month...

It seems I write 5000 words at a time. I hit a wall two days in but I've broken through today *yay*. Total count over 15,000.
