So, if you want to/have joined the Word War team, and do not see yourself in this list:
This is what you do:
- Go to your profile
(If you don't know how, click on your name on any message you wrote) - In the URL bar, you will see something like
http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/183952 - See that number? That is your USERID! Copy it! Cajole it! Caress it! I NEED that number
- Start an email to me at -----
- Set the subject to: [Nanowrimo] Word War 2009 - Toronto
(This is important, because if you put LONDON, I'm putting you on the London team) - The contents of your email should be:
'[USERID]', // [USERNAME]
for example
'183952', // Errol
Feel free just to copy the above and insert your own stuff.

EDITED BY VICTORIA: I think what Errol means is that he needs the punctuation (the part that goes '#####'#', // name) EXACTLY the way it is above for whatever program he's running to set up the WW boards. To save Errol from headaches and you from multiple confusing email messages from Errol, just copy and paste his ID line above and fill in your own name and number :D (To be fair, I'm not sure if I just clarified or confused the issue.)

Just one last word before this gets closed for good.
Thank you to all who have joined in this years word war team! It is so nice to see such a turn out! Im totally glad we made the decision to make it so that many more people could be involved than previous years have allowed.
Just a couple of reminders. To those of you out there we need to make sure that we are updating at least every 8 days. That was the terms agreed to with Team London. They are updating every two days for other regional wars. IF you cant do it for what ever reason get a hold of me so that I know whats going on. If you dont get a hold of me or dont update your word counts you will be cut from the team.
Also just a reminder that the 15th is coming up and that means that there may be some cuts made to the team. I will be speaking with London this week to finalize this and will be making an announcement on friday as to the status of that. No cuts will be made without far warning. So its time to pad your word counts people as much as you can!
Together we CAN beat the pants off London, because we are TEAM TORONTO and we rock!
