YES. Despite studying for a midterm all day, I managed to crank out 4,000 words and skid in to 16K just after midnight (as in, a few minutes).

SLEEP NOW.

Reached it today--a lot of students had to leave my fifth hour for scheduling so we just sat around. Or should I say, those of us without an EeePC and a novel to finish sat around? MWAH HA HA HA!

Sixteen thousandth word: lights. I think that's a pretty good word, considering how boring my previous ones have been.

Made it just barely when it was 11pm and I realized I hadn't written anything today, so I hammered out 1200 words somehow to have something done today. Whew. Have to admit that I'm not exactly happy with the way the scene turned out. I'll have to rewrite it some time.

16,820 as of 9:50pm Saturday. Pretty good since I was feeling sick yesterday and didn't write a word. I have tomorrow off of work, and expect to pass 20k by bed time.

Whee! This is the BEST antidote to two days straight of bleh 300-word nonsense. 3,084 words today and still marching forward. Hoping for 20k before I go to bed.

Keep on chugging! Woot!

Yay! 16,000!

I'm 300 words away from hitting 17k and I'm not sure I can make it. I know, I know, it's only 300 words, but I'm at a cruicial moment in the story. I really don't want to screw it up.

Okay, I'll try. 300 more words and then I can go to bed.
