Nanowrimo's been on my Favorite's Bar for a couple of months and I've been able to access it w/o problems . . . until today. This morning was fine, this afternoon not. I thought it might just be because of an overload of users, but I'm receiving e-mail updates from the Maine forums fine and can access all other aspects of the internet. I had trouble even getting into the Nano site by googling it until just now. (Oh, and by the way, I'm a technological idiot.) So if anyone has any suggestions, I welcome them. But make them easy to understand. lol Thanks!

There's nothing you can do; it's just the incredibly user-unfriendly error message that happens when we're experiencing high levels of traffic. The database refuses extra connections, and regurgitates a rather unhelpful error message. Mostly, we just kinda have to wait until the tech team figures out the magic bullet, or site traffic tapers off a bit more.

Thanks, Dragonchilde. I was finally able to get in this morning. My laptop's been threatening to crash on me for the past couple months - big surprise - in every way imaginable. Just glad to know this was a 'natural' occurence.
