As a long term IT consultant (16 years now), I can, literally, feel your pain.
What has the Naturopath advised?

If you're at the write in this weekend I can do some for you, if you like :)

Haha, I wound up with the orthopedic surgeon offering me cortisone injections for my sore wrist.

I politely declined... it hasn't gotten that bad, a less drastic option would be nice :P

Oh, cortisone, how I love thee! Let me count the ways! I'd have pounced on him and demanded it right then and there!

Nothing pleasant about injections, and yes it hurts for a day, but oh! the relief after that! It fixed my shoulder and I seriously thought I would be in agonising pain for the rest of my life, so I love cortisone!

:D

He did amazing stuff, swung my arm around, bashed my elbow and used strange metal instruments up and down my arm and wrist. ( I promise, this is not my book imagination talking)!! He says that a tendon has been trapped by a muscle. It is an old injury but I hurt it badly the other day. The pain of it all. Anyway I can now move my wrist from left to right and it is sooooo much better. He said it would take three days to get better, tomorrow is day three but I think I will go back for another session. I think he is on the money I have had also sorts of medical treatments including injections into the tendons and only this crazy business has given me relief. Highly recommended.

Really? Well its good to know it can be an effective option.

At the same time, think I will remain too terrified needles to use cortisone unless I'm desperate. Four days in hospital with them shooting up my stomach rather than letting me move, didn't do good things for that particular fear
