This is a thread for everyone who took me up on my instructions/suggestions/orders to do a 15 minute word war while in the middle of reading my epically long pep-talk.
If you didn't get it in email, you can read it over at
and there is also a link to Write or Die that I mentioned in the email.
So for everyone who took me up on the mid-email 15 minute word war, post your word war total, lets quickly celebrate, and then go and do another 15 minute word war chunk.
Oh, and see up there in the top of the page by that big yellow update button? Go ahead and type in your new total and hit update :-)
Total number of NaNoLantans who have participated and emailed me that word war total: 25
Total number of words written by those who participated and have emailed me their total: 13,382

500 words here!
I could have definitely done more if it wasn't a dialog heavy section. Quotation marks suck up a lot of typing time.
