I find that I write best in nano write-ins at the cottage in Easton. There are no distractions there. When the room is silent except for the typing of keys, I feel that I need to do the same. And if I sit in front of a window, I'm afraid that someone will see if I start going on facebook or something, lol. So I was wondering, where does everyone else prefer to write?

And here's an article I wrote on Helium.com concerning what a writer needs: http://www.helium.com/items/225279-the-writers-office-what-you-really-ne...

I write where-ever and whenever I can. Mostly, I simply require a place with an electrical outlet for my laptop and a cup of tea. W/out that, I'm okay with any blank sheet of paper I can grab.

Thanks to a little, tiny laptop like PC my dad is letting me use, I can write almost anywhere for about 8 hours before needing an electrical outlet. So far, I've written on the desktop in the dining room, the desktop at work (only on company sanctioned breaks, of course), and the couch in the living room. Tonight, I walk on the wild side and try writing in bed! Tomorrow night, the cottage in Easton. I'm looking forward to it. I'm almost certain no one there will ask me the status of the laundry, supper, all call me Mom while I'm there.
