I tried to google it, but I'm scared to download the ones I saw as they are a mess of exe files and I don't have it on anyone's experience that they aren't something bad, heh.

Well, most people around here seem to swear by Q10. It's a nifty typing program, complete with good ol typewriter sounds. There's a thread discussing it right....here: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3263986

OR!

You can go one better and join us in the Typewriter Brigade with a real typewriter! Its the ultimate way to go. :D

I was just about to make a topic post on this subject!

I am using "Sound Pilot". I like that it adds (various kinds of) typing sounds to your computer, so you can use it with any program or webapp you like. I'm using it right now in conjunction with buzzword (online word processor by Adobe).

Here's the site (Windows only): http://www.colorpilot.com/soundpilot.html

Q10 looks interesting too. I'll check it out.

Later,
Adriano

Gonna have to look into Q10 (and WriteMonkey, I've heard it's similar) then, though I've been using Rough Draft for past 2 NaNos I think, and love it :D

Downloaded Sound Pilot, but now it seems that if it's running, my Windows Messenger isn't working. Not 100%
it is Sound Pilot, but I kept trying, and once I exited SP, then my messenger worked fine. Hmm... Aw well, I guess it would help to have messenger off when I'm trying to write anyway -_^

But if there are other sound-programs, I would love to hear about them!
