Northside Wrimos?

I'm not in the Northside, but I do have a personal challenge of trying out 20 local Pittsburgh-area coffeeshops by the end of 2009, so count me in! (I think I am so far at like... 8? But this is the big coffeeshop month!) I know thewonderelf is currently living in the Northside, and she had mentioned interest in a write-in in the area. Am I imagining that I saw you mention a place called Amani Coffeehouse? If you did mention it, what day would be the least crowded there? I will find a way to make it happen, and stick it on our Google calendar :)

I am on the Northside. Amani Coffeehouse is close. I actually live on the Mexican War Streets. I'm writing an apocalyptic, end of days, horror story.

As far as Amani goes, it closes at 8pm on weeknights and 7? on weekends. The hours are pretty retarded, actually, but it's a cool place. It's usually not too crowded (nothing like the coffee shops in Oakland that are overrun with students, haha) and there's a pretty big second room that would probably fit us.

Now, if as many people came to this as came to the one last night, we might be a tad squished for seating, but I think it'll be okay.

I can't do the weekend before Thanksgiving or the weekend after, but my weeknights are always open and it's two blocks from my place of employment and about six from my house, so I could get there as early as 5:30 on weeknights if we needed someone there to set up. =D

(If it's a small enough group ya'll could maybe come over to my house afterward for a bonfire with s'mores. I am famous for my s'mores bonfires. =)

I'm over on Federal writing a paranormal fantasy erotica. I was hoping that Crazy Mocha on the corner would be open in time for NANO but it doesn't look like it'll be open until december

Let's hang. Your story idea sounds intriguing. And to the person who offered up bonfire smores... Let's do this. I totally want to puke up words and a sweet mix of chocolate, crackers and marshmallow. I'll bring whatever we need to make this happen. But, it would be cool to hang with some northside nanowrimos. Another weekend without a football game... I've got crush the number count this weekend.

Hey moondial, do you live close to our new library? I'm so glad the library is there. And, crazy mocha will be done soon, not thy I drink coffee but should be a nice addition to our neighborhood.

Okay guys, do you want to set something up for later this week? Maybe like on Wednesday or Thursday? We could do 6-8 at Amani. =D I could do Friday as well, but my roomie probably wants to come and he's going out of town then. The weekend is free for me as well, so Saturday or Sunday afternoon works! Let me know!

Ack, nevermind! Fox has already set up a write in for us this Saturday at Amani! (I'm still willing to meet up extra though...just maybe not this week.)

Yeah right up from the library. Bonfire s'mores sounds like a good idea after some Amanis. This weekend is the last free weekend I have until the end of the month to do anything

Unfortunately this Saturday I can't host a bonfire. =/ I already have plans for Saturday afternoon for like right after the write-in. Maybe later in the month??? Of course that might be really hard because I'm going to be doing A LOT of traveling at the end of November. Poo.

I should still be at Amanis tomorrow at 11 so hoping to see some of yinz there. Gotta try and make the big push this weekend while I have the time to get things done

Had a great time at the right in guys! Lets friend eachother and see if we can get together another time before the end of the month ^.^ I can host at my place, we've got space. Sure all the warhammer figurines won't mind if we set up the laptops on their table for a day.
