I've been writing the past few days at Tanner's Cafe on Sepulveda - is anyone else in the area? I'm thinking I might head over to Teaforest on Washington one of these days, but do you have any other good, cozy suggestions?

I am in Santa Monica, but I know that Tanner's...I have to stick close to home (starbucks on Ocean Park and 29th) until the middle of next week, but I have friends in your neighborhood, and I will post again when I am ready to venture forth.

Oooo... I <3 Tanners. I''ve been there many times.

Recently, I've preferred Venice Grind, which is just a little father west down Venice. There will be a write-in there tonight (Fri Nov 6 @ 7:30) for those who are interested =)

Hi there - I'm always in Culver City too - work there - and I live in Mar Vista, so close by. I like to go to Grand Casino Cafe on Main Street - downtown Culver City. Sometimes I'll go to the Starbucks that's near Kirk Douglas Theatre, also downtown Culver City. Or closer to Sepulveda there's a cafe on Washington Blvd called The Rumor Mill. It's small but cute and has tables near outlets. There's also the Overland Cafe (just past Venice Blvd) although I haven't been there in a while.

I definitely like Teaforest, but I feel like it gets sort of busy and there's not a lot of space - guess depends on when you go.

Oh, and if you ever go to the Marina Del Rey area, there's a Coffee Bean that has a lot of tables outside that a lot of people like to hang at. Could be a good change of scenery. Or the Barnes & Noble at the Westside Pavillion mall.

Hope that helps. Maybe I'll see ya at one of these places!

I'm always down with meeting up in Culver City or the west side.... let me know if you want to this weekend sometime - or early next week.
