Okay, I know it's a meaningless milestone, but 10,000 words, AKA 20% should be celebrated. So give a shout out when you hit this mark. I did just a few minuets ago, and I want to celebrate. Anyone got chocolate cake?

I think of the 10,000 to 20,000 stretch like a barren desert. for whatever reason i always get hung up there every year.

still, WHOO! 10,000+ and going strong

Broke five digits finally, and think I can manage another 1-1.5k tonight yet to get back on pace for 75k to boot. This last 1600ish words was rough. My story went all teen romance on me for a bit >_<

Yay for me!

10,000 is also the population of Tuvalu, a tiny Polynesian island nation.

I have health issues, had to go in the hospital and take it easy for a day, and started off late. Was beginning to think I would never get on pace, let alone get ahead. Well, it's 4:00 Saturday morning here in Denver, and I just hit 10,214 words! Yay for me!

Hit 10,101 last night at work! (of course it didn't get counted until I got home this morning, so my stats page says I missed yesterday's goal, but I know in my heart of hearts I made it)

Just broke 5 digits! Yes, that also makes me eligible for the "Behind in word count" thread, but I'm celebrating. I have characters, I have dialogue, I have paragraphs and pages and everything. Well, I'm a little short on plot, but that's ok. This is fun!
