Alright, yesterday rocked, but there was talk of making it a regular thing, and getting hold of a room in the library for us to natter/work in. Since I'm the one who got the number for booking said room, it'd be helpful to know when we're doing it next so I can find out.

Are we making it a regular Wednesday event? Are we gonna float it? (Awkward for booking purposes...) Are we making it fortnightly, monthly, etc?

Quicker is better, so I can get this organized. :3

Hello there,

Great to meet you yest. I think the general feeling was every wednesday but don't quote me on that.

I think weekly so far too, just so that we can all moan about trying to get to 50,000 words!

On a regular basis after nano I'm not too sure.

How is the writing going? Just get stuck in and see how much fun it is.

Take care happy writingxx

Jayne

Works for me, though I'll have to learn the bus routes better - hanging out with you was worth it, but £21 a week is a bit much for me :p

Shall I book it then? Any last-minute shotguns to the head- I mean, protests?

There was talk of meeting after nano has finished. They're a nice bunch and it would be great to keep in touch.

It would be great if you can get down to see us.

xx

Status update: After spending all weekend trying to get hold of her, I finally managed to talk to miss Townshend.

Here's the skinny: I told her we were a recreational writing group, newly set up, hoping to meet every week. No more than eight of us, and currently not open to further members (more for organization purposes - the less of us there are the easier it is to keep on track for the short term). She said she'd check up on everything needed, and get back to me today or tomorrow at the latest.

She has both my email and mobile number, and I'll let you know as soon as I'm contacted what the situation is.
