What is the male term for a witch? Is it wizard, warlock? Or are they called witches now too?

Male witches were always called witches, not just now.
Unless you mean on TV, in which case the whole "warlock = male witch" thing seemed to get started with Bewitched.

I was always under the impression that both genders were witches, but males can also be called warlocks if they feel uncomfortable in their masculinity...
Wizards and Sorcerers are different in most things.

There is a slight variation in where the words derived from, but the meanings - especially for fantasy novel purposes - are non-existant; unless you decide that for your world there is some difference for some reason, and then you get to decide what the difference is.
