For those participating in the Wrimolympics, you get to pick two of your very own goals and get punches/checks/initials for them. I thought it might be nice to start a thread where people can share what kind of goals they picked for themselves. Pretty much anything goes for them as long as they aren't already listed on the Event Pass. So, let's hear about them . . . what goals are you setting?

EDIT by Myst 10/11:
The list of the non-obvious punches on the Event Pass (like Nano Ender, Traditionalist and Word Maniac) are listed on the VancoWrimo website on the Wrimolympics page.

1) Write at least a few words every day.

Not sure on a second yet, though I have a few I've been tossing around. but they kinda overlap with some of the ones already on there (like "get the 50K this year!" is possible, as, if I follow my pattern, i'm not actually supposed to get it this year, but that's pretty well the same as the 50K one, LOL. Alternatively, "Write more than 50K" is similar to the other 2 that are already on there...)

MLs, any rulings on either of these? I'd probably be leaning more towards the "write more than 50K" one...)

Goal 1) Write 75k
Goal 2)Write 100k (or finish first draft of my novel-whichever comes first)

I want to hit 50k by the 15th or 16th, so I can start working toward my personal goal after that, still leaving some wiggle room for anything unexpected that might pop up along the way.

Ok, even though I can't get punches, here's one of my personal goals for NaNo this year. . .

1. I am not permitted to binge on junk food unless I've completed my workout that day

2. I'm trying to keep my use of the word "said" to under 25 times in 50,000 words. So far, I'm not even close!

That is an AWESOME goal. Think of the possibilities!
