Bob the Builder makes an appearance in your novel when you are trying to explain how a 27th century food geneticist knows what a concrete mixer from the 20th century looks like....

I mean WTF !

And I don't even have kids :S

But Bob is such a jolly fellow, not scary at all, watch out though for Tom the tank engine with that fat controller...now that IS scary.

I woke up this morning and looked at what I last wrote -

Quote:
Saxon got to the that place ( WORD COUNT NESS )

- and realised why I went to bed in the first place.

egads, note to self - 1 beer while writing = happy creative flow and warm fuzzy feeling. 3 beers = utter ****

will. not. edit

When you re-read what you wrote the next day, and realise you don't remember writing it. Seriously. As if somebody else wrote these words. And since in a household of eight, only two of us have the requisite opposable thumbs and/or literacy levels, and one of those two was at work... well, it's just bizarre what you can do when you're half asleep, that's all.

When you get to 50K and realise that the novel is so far off plot you don't know whether to continue or abandon it.

You can't seem to figure out an ending

Your title has no relevance at all to the theme any more

and the sun is coming up yet again.
