So, it's beautiful outside. I'm guessing many of us are inside staring at laptops.
Where are you?
I'm at Dollop on Clarendon. Working on work, actually, rather than nano (which is suffering due to the work).

I'm at the Starbucks near Roscoe and Damen, and on the ChiWriMo chat, working toward my goal of 20,000 by the end of the weekend.

I was sitting comfortably by an open window enjoying the breeze until I was forced outside for a walk. Thankfully I had hit my word quota for the day!

I should have read this earlier, brushed my teeth, walked/rolled the block and met you Slacker. I have recently acquired to a bizarre computer solitaire addiction.

I was working out. Now I'm sitting at my computer, doing everything except writing. I am too tired.

No worries. I'm about to leave the house, venture through the nice weather, and end up at Looseleaf, where a write-in is scheduled for later.
I'll still be working on work.

Are the green days the days that you write a novel? (Just curious.)

I forced myself to get outside both yesterday and today. Yesterday I went to the Chicago History Museum for a little while and walked around Lincoln Park, and today I went for a bike ride in the morning.
I wouldn't make it through these late nights of writing if I didn't get a little Vitamin D into my system from the sunshine. :) And just remember, we could all be outside shoveling snow by next weekend with the way this crazy weather goes!

Dear tkukla,
Please refrain from using such horrid and vulgar language as the "s" word in your posts. Some of us are still recovering from the frights of Halloween and with Nano on top of this...well, it's just not healthy.
Thanks.
(p.s. I'm joking...well, still not ready for the "s" word)

I spent most of this gorgeous day burrowed under my covers, doing some writing (found a program that will shut down and block my internet browser and TweetDeck so I can't play and have to write, it's helping). I kinda feel icky tho, which doesn't help. But at least I got caught up to where I should be! :)
I did get outside briefly after dinner and headed to the Starbucks with my friend and got some more words and my first Peppermint Mocha of the season (not that I'm really ready to see those red cups yet).
Now I'm back in fleece blanky land (aka my toasty warm loft bed) trying and failing to make myself write.
