this is a minor problem, but one of my characters is supposed to be a brilliant strategist, and i've stubbed my toe on a very small, but integral part.
the character(sarica) is about to teach another character(lithiny) something that will change everything she knows and hopefully cause her to turn against her former allies, and sarica's been planning on doing this for awhile.
so, the question is, would sarica tell this to lithiny while the latter was very tired and thus more impressionable, or when lithiny was awake, to give her a clearer view of the situation? sarica's intentions are to persuade lithiny, btw.

A tired person is not easily impressed. A tired person will zone out and stop listening to you. It would be better, if the person that is supposed to be convinced was set up against her allies, or emotionally aggrevated in another form.
