Just wondered if I'm the only one who's been bit by the nasty little bug. I've spent about 40 of the last 48 hours sleeping, and, as a result, have written a WHOPPING 200 words. Ugh. Sorry Team B, I am currently not contributing at all =(

On the plus side, my fever is finally gone, and I have been awake for a whole 2 hours now! I'm hoping this means week 2 will go better for me.

So, how's everyone else feeling?

I wasn't feeling good Wednesday afternoon, then Thursday morning I was sick. Went in to work, drank teas and avoided coffee, had nothing but instant chicken soup and hot sauce all day long. Friday morning was about the same, went into work, rinse, repeat.

This morning, still sick. This afternoon... still sick. Finally broke down and had some coffee (LOTS of coffee) and amazingly, I felt a ton better, though I think it might only be temporary because I can feel-

(head on keyboard, snoring loudly)

I'm sick. Started feeling icky yesterday. We're convinced I have what IronKite has. Lots of hot showers, hot tea/coffee and will be eating soup all day tomorrow.

I was ill like that a couple of weeks ago. I was throwing up and diarrhea. I could even keep water in my body for more than 15 minutes. My little boy had it first, probably picked it up from daycare. It sounds similar, I was sleeping as much as I could.

Glad you are feeling a bit better.

Awwe tragedy has stuck . My Wii has died.
My poor Wii, it was only 6 weeks old.
How will my town on animal crossing survive with out me.
Will I lose everyone in town because I have to get a new one to replace it.

I think what finally kicked my system into getting better was actually the Thai Chicken I ordered in from Boston Pizza last night (thank god they deliver!). I was sweating terribly afterward, but aside from being congested and sleepy, I really do feel much better.

I hope you all get through it as easily as I seem to be.

And Elisha, I'm sorry to hear about your Wii. Do you at least have your receipt for it so you can claim the warrenty? When you get a new one, let me know. I plan on buying Animal Crossing myself soon, so you can add me if you want! =)

I cook a mean thai green vegetarian curry. Sweat, your body will burn those little germys to sinders! ;)

Wii, I think I have one os those under the dust. OK, my little boy does like his time on Cosmic Family. I bought EA Sports Active a couple of weeks ago but then was struck with that bug so haven't tried it yet.

Is Animal Crossing any good?

Hope you can get a replacement.

Uh, flunky?! You call the glue that holds this region together a flunky?!

That said, I simply read a website and told you unplug your power cord.

Thinking about it, that was a bad choice and I should not have done so until December!

Sorry, I'm sure this was my fault somehow. Not sure how exactly but I've always been held responsible for everything bad that happens. Probably a bad time to admit that my real name is Pestilence and I am one of four brothers. Of course as I'm about to finish my third book this would prove to some doubters that I can actually bloody well write this has apparently triggered an apocolypse. Hence the swine flu and the general world wide panic. Sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused...

mmmm... Thai green vegetarian curry.... *drool* oooh! and maybe Welsh Wabbit? lol

TGTIM (that's 'Thank Goodness Tomorrow Is Monday'...) Mondays are an easy day for me to get lots of writing time in, since my daughter is in daycare all day. Hopefully tomorrow will not be any different =) I could use a good catch-up day!

I am currently holed up in bed with the dreaded flu. I can't sleep very much because of my cough and headaches. Only two days in and I want it to be over. The aches and pains are enough without all the other crap, but I've got almost every bloody symptom. :( At least I can focus on my writing...when I don't have a blinding headache. I have a feeling my misery is affecting my writing though-making me more bloody minded. ;)

Stay safe people, I hope all the afflicted feel better.

I spent the whole first week of November sick in bed. I went back to school on Monday to find that I have a huge stack of homework to catch up on. Fortunately I'm not sick any more but I've been catching so many bugs lately that my immune system is pretty much fried. I'll probably have caught something new by the end of the week.
