It seems that the write INS to be held on Annapolis have frustrated many due to discussed times being different from posted times and people showing up and no hosts. I truly want to participate but wonder if we need someone to intervene and get the facts for us so we know. Maybe we can get something scheduled for the Severna Park area. If anyone is interested on that maybe I can set something up for a write in that will actually take place. Forgive my frustrationbut I am tired of the run around for my first nano and want this to be a great experinence to meet other local writers

I've fixed the calendar for Annapolis to reflect the new start time of 2:30.
It's tricky when the site is slow early on in NaNo, and the Google Calendar really was misbehaving.
However, if you'd like to set up an additional write-in, we'd be happy to add it to the calendar. Get it confirmed and post it to the Write-In Sticky.
If you are unsure of a write-in time, I suggest PMing the host listed for the event in the calendar. They will have the final say on the time.
I'm sorry if anyone had trouble. I remember one year there were sites across the street from each other and there was confusion then too. But in the end, the point is to just get your writing done. Getting out helps. But it is nice to hear others typing - gets my blood going and my fingers a tapping too!
