It's a wee bit of a trek for me to get there, and the weather looks miserable! I'm just slightly worried I'll travel and travel and be the only one there, since I can't seem to find a thread about it. Comfort me. Say you'll be at Paneara. Pretty please?

I will be at Panera! :) I plan on getting to Cedar Hills Crossing around 2pm. Get me some Starbux writer's fuel, hit Powell's for some inspiration, and walk to Panera to start my word count. :)

I've never dined at Panera but know they are a bakery/deli of sorts. Do they provide free wifi?

Just look for the radioactive redhead in her pirate shirt. :) Oh, and my writing totem is a little stuffed green spider named Scrit which is always next to my laptop to encourage me to weave my words.

See you there!

I'm planning on being there :D

I'll be hauling along the Blue Beast (my typewriter) so I'll be very obvious XD

I'll be there, along with Mercator, who doesn't seem to have posted on the boards.
Look for the girl with the pink hat (assuming I don't forget it) and a pink MacBook :D

Sure, I'll be there, too.

Forget the Starbucks, though; just pop into World Cup at Powell's. Better stuff, and local, too. What's not to like?

I plan to be there! Just look for the girl with short brown hair, green jeans, a striped sweater, and a mortified look on her face.

I'll probably be the youngest at a meet.

Again.

It is 2:55pm and I'm here at Penera. I'm waaaaaaaay in the back corner where the faux fireplace is (not the one by the entrance).

Redhead on her MacBook wearing a gray jolly roger tee shirt and black hoodie. Plenty of small tables and chairs available. Come join me! :)

You definitely don't need to have worried about being the only one here. There are tons of us. (Though I haven't spotted a typewriter yet! :) )

Edit: (And within about five minutes of me posting, there you are, as if summoned!)

That actually was quite amazing; we were just wondering and poof, she appears like a magician's trick. The sound of that typewriter was so nostalgic!

An amazing turnout! This was my first write-in (I'm such a troll, sitting in my apartment cave) and it was really impressive. I hope we get the same crowd next week. It was great that we took the entire corner. Plus I got my goal of 2000 words before catching a bus back home. So happy, my bunny feels like stabbing some muffins!

A typewriter arrives exactly when it means to! XD

It was great fun writing with all you guys. See you next week!

Sonds like it had a good turn out. I'm planning on coming to the one this Sunday the 15th. I'll be the one with the small Dell computer and a large jacket of some sort.

We had a stunning turnout, and it's a blast meeting all these other writerly people! Even with the chatting and socializing I got a lot written. If you haven't been yet, come next Sunday. I'm sure we can find at least one more table can take over ;)

I'm running so late today that I don't think it's worth driving all the way into Beaverton. I'll see you guys next week!

I'm just home sick. Phooey. But I'm writing anyway. If I don't keel over before next week I'll be there next Sunday.

Same here, I think it's food poisoning (curse you, Carl's Jr.) so I will aim for next week.
