Wanted to make SD Ink Tip today but hey the Chargers are playing the NY Giants at 1 pm. ;)
Questions:
How many people show up, and is there room for all?
Is there wifi?

I didn't count today, someone else was keeping track, but there was probably 15 or so, while I was there. I don't know about the wifi but I think some people were online, so I'm thinking yes. And it's generally quiet so writing will happen. It's a great place to catch up when missing a few days in the week.

There was not wifi. I know this, because I forgot to pull my story on to my flash drive (I usually bounce it from computer to computer via gmail).
----------I didn't count, but I think we had a little over a dozen people there. And plenty of room for more.

I think the Ink Spot lists a lack of WiFi on their profile. Thanks to the focus of no emails or web access, I caught up and pushed past my target word count. Keep up the good work!

I agree. While I think an internet connection helps me on shorter write-ins, I'm not sure if I could have retained my focus for 6 hours if I had something else to do. Especially since I seem to be exceptionally vulnerable to the black hole that is TVTropes these days.

The internet also has value. I use Thesaurus.com a lot and I visit writer or agent blogs. As for the Ink Spot, all the tapping keys and lack of ambient music or espresso machines hissing makes for good writer energy. Although the couches by the door have claimed a sleepy writer or two in the past (not me fortunately).
