I did it, I got to 70k, and now I am dead. I got 4 hours sleep last night after writing 12k, and then today I managed 7k and I am done. I cannot possibly write any more death and destruction today. Tomorrow however is a different story!

Woot woot! Just hit 70K. One chapter from the conclusion... I'm so tempted to just finish the first book now, but it's 1 a.m. and I'm going to have a long day tomorrow. Even though the chapter will only be about 3500-3800 words, I think I'll just go back and pad a few middle scenes to get it up to 75K for the first book, just to guarantee I'll hit 150K when I finish the second.

Congrats everyone!

Woohoo! But please don't be dead tomorrow.

I hit 70k today, too. This is officially the longest work I've ever written. Fun fact.

Yay for 70k! Me too!

More to the point, however, I have just written a scene important to the plot and I think I can see the end from here. I am definitely on the downhill slope. I may or may not get more than 100k, but that's fine with me.

I flew through the 70s, but I wanted to benchmark 70k. Because it was the worst 10k stretch in my life and I hope it keeps that distinction forever. I'm not dead, but one of my cats is, and the other tried to be. SCREW YOU 60ks. >:O SO THERE. *stomps on it*

73K+!

Still have some more to go. Hoping to hit at least 80K before I wrap up. 85 would be better, since I know I have a lot to cut.

Yes! 70k! and my wrists hurt like crazy but I'm not dead yet! Though if I do more than 5k in-exactly-one-sitting-w/out-removing-backside-from-chair again, I might be... and I've still got to do school...

I just hit 70,000!

Hooray!!!

I only have 30k to go to reach my goal, which isn't bad. Hopefully I'll get a little more writing in tonight before I finally go to sleep. It would be nice to reach 75k by the end of the day tomorrow.

We shall see.

*staggers in* 70K and I am comatose. And dying. And I'm pretty sure I left my hands somewhere behind me.

Going into the last week of NaNo, I find that it's harder to make myself write and finish this thing.

Anyone else going into this last week slump? I don't intend on giving up so close, but...yeah >.>
