Blast, now *I* have a cold. I'm just hoping that I don't pass it on to my breadwinner, or the kid who's singing and dancing in a play this week, or the kid who's got a birthday this weekend, or, heck, the dog who sits in my lap while I type.
Of course, when I'm sick, nobody expects me to do anything like cooking or housework, so that technically gives me more time to write. Except that I have to pause every seventeen words to wipe my nose. (Figuring out how many times I have to wipe my nose before reaching 50,000 is left as an exercise for the reader.)

Hope you all feel better soon. get plenty of rest, fluids and try to eat a little something along the way.
I have had two rounds with the nasty lung creepy crud since the end of june. Almost ended up in the hospital both times. don't want a third round.
I hope you all understand why I am staying far away from you.
