I need to start keeping an eye out for these threads instead of discovering them at midnight.

I didn't even know this was going on, but here I am, writing like mad until midnight. I'm less than 500 words from 30,000. Holy crap.

And I've managed to jog right by Brian!

As they say in the local vernacular, "neener".

22k exactly. Good deal.

So here come's the fuzzy math:

That means I wrote 1034 words in 40 minutes?

25.85 Words per minute?

Wow!

Well, 1,353 / 90 = 15 wpm. If you consider when I was actually writing, not watching the end of Supernatural or microwaving coffee or starting up my computer - 11:00- 12:11 I got 19.3.

Course I look like a gooseegg slacker Friday night since I wrote through to 12:38 am.

@ 29,306

Andy - stop. it. Seriously. Go run down your buddy who's firsting and had 38,000. Go taunt him when you're out past him.

Heather and Gwenn - not sure I'll post tomorrow for a sprint. If you're in the mood, pretend I'm writing along and when I have chance I'll post my results from 10:30 - 12:00 Saturday night on Sunday.

- Brian.

How do you spell eyeing? Is it really eying? That looks bizarre.
