Excerpt: But wait, there's watermelon.

The girl continued to search through the books in the library, oblivious to the growing number eyes that watched her from the darkness. So far she had found nothing of consequence, pausing in her search only to dispose of a very old slice of ham she had found in between the pages of "Halbert's Guide to Necromancy." Had she been less focused on her task, she might have speculated whether this was a critical ingredient, or a failed experiment. As she reached the final book, she began to despair of ever finding what she was looking for.

Still the eyes watched.
