Brief Author Bio: I am 23 years old and graduated in 2008 with a BA in English. I've been doing NaNo since 2002, and have yet to lose a year (although 2008 was pretty close!). Still can't type sentences with a proper subject-object-verb sentence. Abuse the shift key regularly. Love irregular punctuation, hate improperly used punctuation (there's totally a difference). Write all genres, from fantasy to literary fiction. I think 2009 is going to be a foray into the adventures of Chick Lit, in which my goal will be to write a chick lit novel where the main character acts like an ACTUAL woman, instead of a ditzy, romance-obsessed hyena. |

Synopsis: untitled
Is it possible for a novel to be written for a woman, by a woman, about a woman, without falling into the unfortunate and often poorly written genre of Chick Lit? Probably not, thanks to the every-so-helpful genre classification systems at various book store chains. But it is possible for that novel to be well-rounded, featuring a character who is neither blonde nor a size 2, for the novel to focus on a strong, real woman who actual resembles reality, who falls in love with a man but is strong enough to still be her own person. And if there happens to be spies, futuristic weapons, and secret goverment organizations (and maybe a robot or two) thrown in there? Well, at least it'll be interesting!
