“I am leaving!” Colin called to us.
“See you,” I said to Lisa, as I stood up to join Colin and Henri.
“So…” I said, trying to start conversation.
“So what?” Henri said.
“Come on, guys,” Colin said.
“Jeez, we can talk while we’re walking, can’t we?” Henri asked, in a spoiled-why-can’t-I-play-my-music-as-loud-as-it’ll-go-teenager tone. I rolled my eyes. Spoiled nitwit.
“Yeah, but that would require walking to talk while we’re walking, so let’s get a move on,” Colin reasoned. Henri stuck his tongue out at him. We started walking simultaneously.
"So, Henri, where are you from?" I asked. I don't know why I was making such a big point in asking people that question. Maybe it would be something to relate to... I don't know.
"Jeez, I'm from Jersey, dumb ass," Henri said.
"Just asking,” I muttered, “No need to call me names.”
“Meh,” Henri said. Meh? What was that supposed to mean? Was it yet another insult or was it… Oh, I don’t know! Something stupid that boys just say?
“Excuse me, what?” I asked.
“Meh, you know, like a ‘I’m bored’ sort of thing? Meh!” Henri said. He still didn’t make any sence at all. Just as he said that, I tripped over a loose branch, fell, and grabbed an unnamed part of Henri’s body. I stared at my hand, horrified. It had grabbed Hanri’s… Henri’s… Ew! I wasn’t even going to say it!
“I can masturbate on my own, Miley! You’re such a perv!” Henri accused. I stared at him in horror. I was still on the ground. My hands were now in the pockets of the pair of jeans that I was wearing. I couldn’t believe that I had actually grabbed THAT part of his body!
“I-I’m sorry,” I tried to say. It sounded all squeaky. I was surprised that I could actually make sound. Oh my God!
“Jeez, go masturbate Colin if you want to give someone pleasure! He might actually enjoy it!” Henri continued.
“I-I-I didn’t mean to!” I muttered. I felt my cheeks burning, and so were my eyes. Oh, crap. I was going to cry! And in front of boys, too!
“Henri, stop. She obviously didn’t mean to grab you there. She just fell and needed something to grab on to! It could have just as easily been mine!” Colin argued. Why couldn’t they just drop the subject matter and forget about it?
“Duh… It was mine, not yours, so you stay out of this!” Henri yelled so loudly that birds flew out of the trees. There was something unusual about the birds, but I just couldn’t place it sinse I was so mortified. I felt warm water running down my cheeks. Oh, crap. Here come the waterworks.
“Now look what you’ve done!” Colin accused. If I were Henri, I would have felt even more guilty than I felt embarrassed right now… If that was possible. I was seriously doubting that right now. A strong surge of emotion surged through me, especially effecting my core. It was towards Henri and I couldn’t identify it. It made me want to tear his body in half and lavish the fact that he was being tortured. It made me want to hurt myself. It made me want to punch a tree hard enough to knock it down. It made me yell the most hateful thing that I’d ever said to anyone.
“FUCK YOU, HENRI! Go to hell!” I screamed. Then I ran straight back to camp.
