Synopsis: Present Indefinite

My novel emulates the style of Ray Bradbury's Martin Chronicles in that he establishes a "fact" - that Mars is attainable and habitable by humans - and then each chapter is a slice of Martian life.

Present Indefinite (working title) is slice of life after time travel becomes a more or less accepted practice.

Henry Dodd is upset that his method of time travel garners enthusiastic praise from psychics but equally vehement scorn from physicists. He gets concensus from the world wide online community to perform a feat involving highly respected Buddhist monks, quadruple blind tests and full disclosure to prove that time travel is not merely possible but that anyone can do it.

Despite time travel's disappointingly limited range and ongoing and merciless ridicule from the scientific community, people the world over start exploiting this new ability - to solve one crime and to commit another crime, to win the lottery, to alter a life course and to many other purposes.
