Brief Author Bio: I've been writing since junior high. My first novel was about a teenage witch and her white trash fiance. It's as terrible as it sounds (maybe even more so). After writing numerous half-finished (and half-baked) novels, I decided to give short stories a try. Turns out I'm much better at those. My stories have appeared in The Harrow, Bewildering Stories, Every Day Fiction, and The Cynic Online Magazine, and I have works forthcoming in Shallow Graves Magazine, The Rose and Thorn, Big Pulp and OMG! The Book of Awesome Stuff. My writing blog can be found at http://hellostephanie.net. |

Synopsis: Breaking & Entering
Rural horror. A couple encounter a terrifying creature while looting an abandoned old house. They deal with being the black sheep in a rural town, scraping by financially, and threatening encounters with someone . . . or something . . . they can't identify.
