Brief Author Bio:

My name is Kelly. I attempted to do NaNoWriMo for two years, but failed to complete anything. I'm going to attempt once again this year. Whether or not I'll make it all the way is up fully to my motivation, encouragement, and my imagination.

I am an aspiring graphics designer. I plan on going into Graphics Designing and starting up a self-publishing business, since I firmly believe all authors should own all the rights to their words and the publishers and editors should not have a say in the writing unless the author asks. I plan on publishing my own stories, in addition to other peoples.

Writing is a hobby of mine. I'll fully admit I write more fanfictions than I do original stories; I find fanfictions as writing practice. It has improved my own writing. I'm also pretty lazy, so I tend to find fanfictions easier to write. I do enjoy writing my own stories though.

I am a major Eurobeat fan. Eurobeat is a genre of music produced in Italy and often sung in English (and if not English, Japanese). It's full of energy and is extremely easy to dance to, as well as fun. I highly recommend trying out the genre of music, especially if you're a techno/trance/dance fan.

I will admit I am a major fan of the Pokémon anime. The Pokémon manga series I've read come in second. I am a huge advocate of the most current season (except for English voices, which I absolutely hate) and the Japanese version. I would prefer not to get into a debate about it, but if I do, you'll get an explanation - 700 words or more. My two favourite characters is Satoshi/Ash Ketchum and Hikari/Dawn for a variety of reasons.

I consider Ash Ketchum my alter-ego.

I have a long list of Pokémon fan characters, as well as several KH fan characters. I absolutely adore fan characters and believe that they're part of fandoms; if they didn't exist, a fandom wouldn't be a fandom. I'm also a major OC x Canon fanatic. I would prefer that you not say anything against it. I'm not going around, bashing your Canon x Canon only views.

I hope that people enjoy my story this year. I hope I can finish. I really, really, really, really hope I can. Now...just to decide which story I'm writing...

Synopsis: Magic Misty and the New School of Ghouls: Warped Edition

A warped rewrite of a story I was writing in 4th grade, but never finished and completely destroyed (which I totally regret now), Magic is a high schooler. She's not quite your typical high schooler, but she's not quite out there either. She continuously gets unwanted e-mails, being invited to a school of Magic. She takes the e-mails as spam, until she one day texted by the administration of the school. She is then sent to a school that she would never forget for her entire life.

"Are you okay?" asked a slightly squeaky, high, kind voice. Magic looked over, seeing a girl with blonde, wavy hair in big, low pigtails that looked like they were teased for hours.
"No, those e-mails keep coming, Mimi..." Magic said, clicking on her trash can. Her entire trash can on her e-mail was full of that one subject - Ms. Magic Misty - We Invite You to Come to Our School.
Mimi's face turned pale. If one were to look closely at her, the hairs on her skin were standing up. "Did you try blocking them?"
"Yeah. Blocking them, reporting them, everything. Yet, they still keep coming through..."
"Maybe it really is from a school of magic," giggled Mimi nervously.
"Magic is bullshit." Magic placed her chin in the palm of her left hand, gazing up at the bright blonde girl. "I know my parents would hate me if I said that, but it's true. There is no such thing as magic."
"Have you ever experience magic though?" asked Mimi.
"...no..." Magic looked away, avoiding Mimi's gaze.
"It might exist."
"The only place magic exists is in our heads. No where else. Everywhere else is science. Complete science."
Mimi frowned. "Whatever you say, Magic."
