Synopsis: Windspun

In a world where magic is spun into thread from the very air itself, Alton Zephuri, a young man freshly discharged from the military, returns home after his father's death to find that the family's company has been left to his charge. Confused by his late father's decision - Alton knows next to nothing about running a lemonade stand, let alone a giant corporation that provides the very foundations of magic to the country! - and faced with a slew of problems: imposing shareholders, not-entirely-truthful assistants, the growing power and instability of the great Storm that both nurtures and threatens the world they live in, his own uncertainty and lack of confidence, jealous family members, vicious business rivals, and the enigma of a young girl who seems immune to the wind's magic. But Alton is determined to prevail; he has to. After all, he's a Zephuri, descended from the sorcerers of old who first tamed the winds and settled the Storm. And though the great powers they once wielded may no longer exist, Alton has strength enough on his own side. And maybe, with a bit of help and, of course, a little magic thread, he'll be able to tame the wild winds that howl through his life, and weather out his own storms - safely, alive, and maybe even on top.
