Brief Author Bio: I'm a wanna-be school librarian. I work at a childcare center. I'm obsessed with progressive and neo-prog music. I've been writing since I was five, and writing seriously since I was seventeen. I have yet to win NaNo because school kept getting in the way with its pesky things like grades and tests. Synopsis: Torch Song
Meet Torch.
Torch is a washed-up musician-turned-gambler on the brink of a mental meltdown. Everything seems to already be going poorly for him - band's gone on without him, girl's left him, creditors want money that his producers haven't left him - when he starts seeing...
It.
It is a hulking masked humanoid thing that calls itself Grendel. It wanders in Torch's wake, cutting a swath of bloody destruction through the city.
And then THEY show up. He doesn't know who THEY are, but they sure seem to know a lot about HIM.
And poor Torch's life takes a swandive into the weird.
