Chapter One

He had one thing on his side- the guards probably hadn’t noticed he had escaped yet. Kenny Delucca was a two time loser- four if they got him on this last armed robbery and attempted murder charge- and the only education he could claim to have earned was all gotten on the streets of Gary, Indiana.

He wasn’t an expert at much. Could barely string a sentence together, to tell the truth. But that didn’t stop him from thinking he could beat the cops at their own game.
