I enjoy mental challenges. Winning a game of Go or Chess or creating a computer program to solve a problem gives me great satisfaction. I also enjoy cooking, especially healthy foods. I haven't gotten into baking though. I think that's because I have a general tendency not to feel like something is actually cooking unless I can HEAR it cooking. I love the sound of sauteing onions or vigorously boiling pasta.

I work as a computer programmar for an engineering company, and I love my job. Other things I love include my girlfriend, my family, and coffee. I'm also interested in personal development, and regularly read Steve Pavlina's blog, as well as a few others.

I've done NaNoWriMo two times but haven't won yet. This year I'm going to win!
