Master of Ceremonies
an excerpt

Day 1 - June 12 - The Diary of Joe

Why they picked the first day to be the 12th of June is beyond me. We all got here yesterday, but everything didn’t start until today. So we had one more day to run errands and stuff like that, though everything we brought back was searched through like we were criminals. We had this big long list of things we could bring, and things we couldn’t bring. I’m sure you’ll see that in the midst of everything since it will be part of this whole game thing.
This is going to be weird. I haven’t talked to everyone that I’m going to be stuck with yet, but I’ve seen them all. Some of them appear to be… well, not my cup I tea is putting it nicely. A lot of young kids. There’s a chick that’s probably just a couple of years younger than me. She seems a bit on the quiet side. Who knows though, it’s hard to make great judgement on anyone when you first meet them. Everyone probably thinks I’m a big bad ass biker guy. EEEERRRT. Wrong answer. I get that a lot though, and everyone’s always wrong. I’m one of those examples of “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover.”
