Favorite writers: Mary Renault, Tanith Lee, RE Howard, Ursula LeGuin, Leigh Brackett, Steve Erikson, China Mieville, and so on

Favorite music: While I'm writing, classical stuff that doesn't demand too much attention

Non-noveling interests: My family, Karma Kagyu Buddhism, fantasy RPGs

Brief Author Bio:

I live an hour and a bit north of Sydney, Australia's biggest city, where I work.
I have 3 kids: my boy Kobe who's soon to be 5, and 3 yr old twins, India and Jack. They take up pretty much all of my time or have done until the last 12 months or so, so I'm carving out a bit of free time for stuff like, oh, writing 50K in 30 days.
Right now I'm loving summer and daylight savings. Coming home and swimming with the kids in the backyard pool is heaven on a stick.
