Synopsis: Descent to Perdition
It started out as a third person on the first day, and it managed to get nearly 8k of writing done before my main character decided that she could tell the story better. Hence, on the second day I restarted completely.
The seven archangels were cast out of Heaven, and need to regroup so they can petition their way back into Heaven. The only problem is that their divinity is hidden from them while they go through normal human life cycles, been born and reborn again and again, until they can somehow release that divinity or have Michael, the lead archangel, do it for them.
The last archangel to be found is Raphael, and they've called a meeting at Gabriel and Uriel's home to discuss their findings (or lack thereof) and switch of partners until the next meeting. However, Gabriel and Uriel seem to have adopted a boy--or so they think--who finds out what they are after a number of unfortunate events. Promising to keep their secret and look for Raphael, she does so until by a sudden turn of events she sprouts a pair of wings and is suddenly the archangel Raphael.
Now they have bigger problems: getting into Heaven when Heaven obviously doesn't want them anymore, and trying to convince themselves that they shouldn't continue their Fall to Hell, either. Add to that a mysterious Company that seems to want a little boy--and Raphael--dead, and you've got chaos.
